AMG Transcend Association has developed scholarly publishing activities in chemistry, materials science, nanoscience, biotechnology, bioengineering, food science, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The publishing experience associated with its current journal portfolio dates back to 2011. Biointerface Research in Applied Chemistry was established in 2011, followed by Letters in Applied NanoBioScience in 2012. Both journals were initially operated under a different legal entity, with Alexandru Mihai Grumezescu serving as a founding editor.
In 2014, the publishing activities of both journals were transferred to AMG Transcend Association, which has since continued their publication and development.
The publisher subsequently expanded its journal portfolio with Materials International in 2019 and Foods International in 2026.

Since 2021, the publisher has used the JAMS.PUB platform to support manuscript submission, editorial assignment, peer review, manuscript revision, editorial decisions, and related publishing workflows.
Before the adoption of JAMS.PUB, other electronic systems and workflows were used according to the operational requirements of the publisher at the relevant time.
Development of Publishing Standards
Alongside the development of its journal portfolio, AMG Transcend Association has progressively expanded its publisher-level and journal-level policies relating to editorial independence, peer review, research and publication integrity, conflicts of interest, authorship, research ethics, data integrity, post-publication actions, open access, and preservation of the scholarly record.
The publisher reviews and develops its publishing practices in response to changes in scholarly communication, research standards, technology, ethical guidance, and applicable requirements.
